Orientation and orientation for a successful school community
Our grammar school focuses on the fine arts and MINT (mathematics, computer science, natural sciences, and technology), as well as an international orientation. We see our school program as an opportunity to prepare young people for the requirements and challenges of a diverse, complex, globalized, digitized, and constantly changing society. We see it as our responsibility to prepare the next generation for the tasks of tomorrow and place particular value on skills such as adaptability, critical thinking, communication, and interdisciplinarity.
We believe that issues such as health, demographic change, and well-being; safe, clean, and efficient energy; Climate protection, environment, resource efficiency, and raw materials; intelligent, environmentally friendly, and integrated transport can be researched and solved by integrating mathematics, computer science, natural sciences, and technology. Therefore, we promote the interdisciplinary approach and rely on project work to give our students the opportunity to apply their knowledge in practice.
You have
Ideally, either the 1st or 2nd state examination for teaching at grammar schools or a master's degree or diploma in one or two subjects is required for the position to be filled. In addition, practical teaching experience is required, as well as the ability to work in a team and project-oriented manner and to have basic digital skills.
In order to successfully fill the position, you should be able to demonstrate good knowledge of German. A well-founded academic education in the relevant subject areas as well as teaching experience, ideally in interdisciplinary teaching, are usually required. You will also be expected to be able to work in a team, leading or participating in projects. In addition, you should have the ability to use digital technologies in the classroom and have basic knowledge in this area.

Welcome culture and sustainable integration of new colleagues
We attach great importance to promoting new colleagues and retaining them in the long term. That's why we offer a mentoring program that accompanies and supports you during the initial phase. Your mentor will be by your side and will help you find your way around our grammar school. We support you with the following topics, among others:
- Use of media and school software to support teaching
- Communication on the school's intranet for a smooth exchange of information
- Adherence to school rules and knowledge of contingency plans for student and staff safety
- Understanding of the school program and school development to support the school's vision and goals
- Orientation in school organization for effective collaboration and planning
- Planning and conducting projects to enrich lessons and provide hands-on experiences for students
- Assistance with final exams and preparation of certificates to ensure fair and appropriate assessment of performance
- Conception of class tests to record and promote the learning progress of the students
